As you may recall, I'm reading through the Bible in one year. This morning I think I made an unusual discovery. Every time it is mentioned that a king did right in the eyes of the Lord, the Bible names his mother, but when it is said that a king did evil in the eyes of the Lord, no mother is mentioned! One could certainly draw some interesting inferences from that!! --------------- EDIT-------------- Nevermind, I just finished II Kings, and there are a few bad kings with their mothers named.
