I'm currently in Chicago on a trip with my dear husband and my mother. While I'm here, I am reading a book entitled Chew on This by Eric Schlosser & Charles Wilson. Here are some quotes from the book:

Scary isn't it. They say that children recognise the McDonalds sign before they recognise their own name!
How did the bird flu meeting go? Do I have to avoid the geese up at the lake? lol. Blessings.
The planning meeting is not until later this month. I will definitely give a report. :)
I finished the book, which was full of good information but too short for me. I was left for two days with nothing to read! lol.
There are a few things that my son won't experience for a long time or not at all:
Chocolate (allergies)
Fast Food joints
Hubby and I don't eat fast food (Subway is the only exception). I don't see the merit in my child eating it. I'm sure he won't miss out on anything much by not getting a happy meal and playing in the ball pit. Instead, he'll eat a wide variety of homemade meals from different cultures and even different centuries, and play on farms and historical sites.
